My name is Kathy Berman. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in February, 2003. I stared attending the Foundations class about 2 years ago. This class has improved my function by helping me improve my handwriting. My handwriting had deteriorated so much that I couldn’t read it and that meant that certainly my friends couldn’t read it. But after attending the class I made good progress and it was fun. Before attending this class I was almost unable to write legibly. And now, this class has changed my life because I need to write checks and letters and pay bills and I was to a point that I couldn’t do that. When I worked with the Foundations Class my friends were finally able to read my handwriting.
