Moving for Better Balance

An event every week that begins at 1:30pm on Tuesday, repeating indefinitely
In this class we use a gentle, meditative flow of Tai Chi combinations to address issues of balance, pain free joint range and concentration. No previous experience is necessary; no memorizing or “getting it right” is required. Chairs can be used for all or part–or none–of the class. Come with the body, energy and mood you’re in at the time and we go from there without pre-conceived notions. Be totally yourself and let it refresh you.
Note: this class is free for YMCA members and for those with Silver Sneakers and/or Silver and Fit. The cost for non-YMCA members is $12 (which includes access to other facilities and equipment as well).
